Our History
Founded in 1977 by Alf Kant and Les Rosenfeld, the business today continues their legacy of quality advice, attentive service and genuine longstanding client relationships.
Gary Williams and Raul Valois were admitted as partners in 1994 and have continued to lead and uphold the values of the business since Alf and Les retired. While tax management and business advice were founding services, so too is Rosenfeld Kant’s support of the arts, film and television.
The founding partners’ contacts and special interest in the entertainment industry all those years ago enabled well-known entertainers, producers and directors to manage their personal financial affairs and complex tax and audit requirements unique to the industry.
Today, Rosenfeld Kant remains the ‘go-to’ tax advisors and audit specialists having completed (at time of writing) over 500 assignments for well-known films and television programs including Young Rock, Power of the Dog, Invisible Man, Mystery Road, Stateless, Alien TV, 100% Wolf, Texas Flip n Move and numerous others.

Rosenfeld Kant was offered and accepted an invitation to join the prestigious Geneva Group International (GGI). This alliance connects us with a global network of accounting professionals with access to high quality firms in more than 120 countries. Membership of the alliance enables Rosenfeld Kant to provide a conduit to information about international business trends, opportunities and resources.
GGI is the sixth largest accounting concern in the world. The organisation unites a select group of international, independent audit, accounting, law and consulting firms with the joint potential to find the right solution for any specific problem, including those in international jurisdictions. This creates the increased capacity to resolve financial, legal and tax issues for the clients of member firms.
