Rosenfeld Kant & Co celebrates 40 years

November 2017 marks 40 years since chartered accountants Alf Kant and Les Rosenfeld teamed up to form Rosenfeld Kant & Co.

Our founding partners created a legacy of quality service and long-standing relationships with our clients which continues today.

We offer business advice, tax, financial planning and specialised audit services for medical and legal professionals, and large family-owned businesses operating in property development, national retailing, infrastructure and manufacturing operations.

In 1994, Raul Valois and myself were appointed partners, and Elias Makris became a partner in 2006.

I’m proud to say that we have continued to build a strong business focused on enhancing our clients’ financial circumstances and business prosperity. Our success is made possible by our happy and cohesive team of highly credentialed professionals, many of whom are multi-lingual and assist clients in Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Greek, Afrikaans, Mandarin, Hindi and Punjabi.

As we reflect on our 40 years, we are pleased to celebrate our achievements with you. Rosenfeld Kant & Co. has earned an enviable position in the top 100 accounting firms in Australia. We were also recently invited to join GGI Geneva Group International, a leading global network of independent professional accounting firms and the sixth largest accounting concern in the world.

On a personal note, I am honoured to continue the specialisation introduced by Alf Kant and Les Rosenfeld 40 years ago. It was their experience and contacts in the entertainment industry which lead to a specialisation in helping well-known entertainers manage their financial affairs, including Baz Luhrmann for Strictly Ballroom. Today we are known as the go-to film audit specialist, having conducted more than 250 film audits including for Bondi Rescue, Mao’s Last Dancer, Jack Irish.
